The loss of a dear friend….

With deepest regret we inform our comrades of the loss or a great man.

Beloved husband of Faye Mayer, loving Father, and Opa. Bert will also be missed by his mother, brothers, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be dearly missed by daughter Katrina and granddaughter Keiran.

Bert was an active member of the New Hamburg Legion Branch 532 and he enjoyed darts, cards, golfing and bowling. Bert and Faye enjoyed spending time RVing, travelling to Florida and following their grandchildren to their sporting events.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 532, 65 Boullee Street, New Hamburg, on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1 – 4 p.m. with words of remembrance spoken at 2:00 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice through funeral home.
